Editorial Reviews
By His Grace, I Am What I Am - 1 Cor 15:10 The world today suffers from a noxious disease. It enters at conception and we all bear the effects of it until the day we die. It is called "Sin". Sin shatters the mirror that allows us to view ourselves correctly. It distorts the view of who we are, often leaving us trying to be someone we are not. The final diagnosis is that we have an "Identity Crisis." On this album, Tedashii, gives us a wake up call and take us to a place of freedom. The cry is for men and women to realize that we are in a crisis no one can escape. Our only chance for redemption is through the blood of Christ by his death on the cross. If we believe in Him, and learn to see ourselves as a new creation, only then will our image be restored. Tedashii enlists Flame, Lecrae, Sho Baraka, Trip Lee and others to tackle this "tour de force." With production from G-Styles, DJ Official, and others, "Identity Crisis" is sure to be not only an unbelievably creative masterpiece but a call for all to seek restoration. Direct, clear, bold, heartfelt, sentimental. When asked how you would classify his music, these answers brought clarity to the man behind the mission. The Texas native, Tedashii, yearns to see God glorified in his music and ultimately his lifestyle. The target market is ALL men and women, the vehicle is music, and the driver Christ himself. Although, Tedashii admits that he has a heavy burden for the constantly "forgotten" urban communities, the main goal is to show theworld the glory of God through the redemptive work of Christ on thecross. Southern yet universal, fresh but old school, impactful andheartfelt, these phrases show the diversity of artthat Tedashii wishes create.

GREAT!!!
Customer Rating:I have to give it to this guy. He loves Jesus and drops some very mean beats. He puts must secular rappers to shame. My favorite track is "Hollywood." How he weaves in the titles of so many black films is a work of genius!!
9.2 out of 10 rating from CrossRap - Gold Medal Winner
Customer Rating:Tedashii - an artist who is perhaps best known for his powerful booming voice and precise punch lines is back to bring another offering to the table.
Fans of Tedashii may notice that this album contains a bit less 'boom' and is slightly leaner in the punch line department - and instead seems to opt for a more cultivated feel.
While I felt that this approach proved successful on songs like "Gotta Believe" - my overall impression was that the areas where this album really shined was when Tedashii stuck to his original tried and true formula - the style that dominated the majority of his previous album "Kingdom Music".
This bold style can be found on songs such as "Work", "26's", "Make War", "I'm a Believer", "Fresh", and "Thank You". Consequently, these were my favorite songs from the album; here's why.
"Work" is based on a superb beat that has a down south feel to it, complete with musical accents in the background that really make it come alive.
"26's" features Lecrae and it also borrows a portion of Lecrae's verse from the song "The King" from his album "After the Music Stops" and reworks it into a razor sharp hook. "These Self proclaimed kings braggin 'cuz they on chrome, but 26 inches is a pretty low throne!"
"Make War" matches a powerful bass line with a commanding chorus that encourages believers to make war against their fleshly lusts and desires.
"Fresh" is constructed upon a lively beat and the theme of the song is that as Christians, we are made fresh (made clean) because of what Christ did for us on the cross; not because of our own "swagger" or works.
"Thank You" is tied with "26's" for being my favorite song on the album. It has what I can only describe as a caribbean type feel to it and is full of joy. Its message is clear and powerful - thank the Lord for all that he's done for us.
Overall, "Identity Crisis" proves to be yet another winner from the Reach Records camp and it should not be passed up.

IN YOUR FACE (FAITH) !!!
Customer Rating:How refreshing. It's about time a Christian artist got some backbone to tell it like it is. Lord Jesus continue to bless this man, Tedashii's ministry.
